Welcome to A BATTLE WITHIN, Episode 125 with today’s special guest Blair Hennessey
Blair comes to us from Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Way up there and The eastern most part of the country where he lives with his wife, Sarah. Blair’s journey began as a youth hockey player and came to a bit of a head while serving in the Canadian military.
He has been trying to heal from his PCS since 2015 and as part of the process he has been actively involved in the online community trying to help others by sharing his story and insights.
In today’s conversation Blair tells us a bit about his injuries and how the have affected him, how a particular treatment made such a huge difference for him, his 5 year mantra as well as many other important perspectives.
He is on his way to get his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy, coaches ice hockey and is currently training for a half Iron Man happening in just a couple of weeks.
Blair is a shining example that even though having a brain injury sucks, with some grit, determination and perseverance anything is possible!
