Vanessa’s TBI journey started with a bicycle accident while on vacation in Italy. She takes us through the journey of trying to get treated with a language barrier and with the need to stay abroad for an extended period of time while her 3 children are home in Canada.
Like many in this community, this trauma has Vanessa re-evaluate things and she goes on to become a life coach and has written a book to help others in their own journey.
Vanessa provides her perspectives on finding the new version of herself, tells us about her quest and offers some really good thoughts on the ways we talk to ourselves.
