Today Drew and Terry are joined by special guests David Figurski, Ph.d. and Donna O’Donnell Figurski.
This couple have been married for more than 50 years at the time of the recording. Unfortunately David experience his Brain Injury back in 2005 which lead to 3 brain surgeries over a 2 week window. He has been recovering since.
After David was more or less out of the woods they became very active in the TBI community. Donna developed a blog, They speak whenever they can on the topic, Donna hosts a radio show which airs bi-monthly and has written a book about their story with David acting as the editor.
It’s an amazing story of the human spirit. I’m sure you will enjoy this chat and come away with many more resources.
