041: On Gratitude

Drew and Terry Review Their Gratitude Strategies and the Journey

>

Welcome to A BATTLE WITHIN, Episode 41

Today we explore what can be an extremely tough topic. Gratitude.

During this time of the year in the United States where this becomes a front of mind consideration. We are no different.

As we go into talking about this today, we recognize that for many it may be a struggle to find ways to be grateful after experiencing a trauma such as a brain injury especially when PTSD and long term effects like Post Concussion Syndrome may be associated with it.

We have had real struggles around feeling grateful at times and continue to do so from time to time. It is a struggle.

We are going to pass along a few things we do to try to help us in this regard as well as other ideas we have learned about since episode 17 (The Mindset Shift) when we spoke to it as well.

Keep Battling!
