018: Dale Walton, Doctor of Physical Therapy

018:

A Conversation with Dale Walton about Concussions and the Recovery Process.

In today’s episode we have the opportunity to speak with Dale Walton, Doctor of Physical Therapy.

She was very much involved in Terry’s recovery from the third concussion. During this time she also oversaw Lancaster General Health’s Concussion Recovery Program.

Dale has been listening in to the podcast and graciously volunteered to spend time with us. She offers some great insight about Terry’s concerns. In addition, she offers insight into the therapies needed the most for people with head injuries and what to do if you need help to name a few things.

We also discuss a paper Dale wrote in 2015, her experiences lecturing at a local university, and her take on both live and online support groups.
