012:
We finally get to have a discussion with Dr. Rochester, Terry’s doctor.
If you have been listening in up until this point, you know Dr. Rochester was an amazing doctor to Terry during her recovery. We are both forever grateful for his caring commitment and generousity to Terry as she battled to find healing.
Terry has always said she felt lucky to have had him in the trenches with her for 2 1/2 years as she fought this battle. He truly fought right along side.
I spent many hours myself in his exam room getting to know him as well during the times I accompanied Terry during her appointments. I personally grew to admire and respect him easily and quickly.
He tells his perspective of Terry’s recovery from the doctors perspective and revisits some of the events and obstacles Terry faced during the recovery process.
We also get to ask some questions about his take on the current state of affairs within the Post Concussion community and learn of resources available.
This conversation was long overdue and we were glad to have finally had it.
